OpenShift courses for different skill levels

To meet the growing need for skills in OpenShift and containerisation, we offer OpenShift training programmes.

Designed to suit different skill levels, these programmes are aimed at those who want to manage container platforms independently, as well as those seeking knowledge to make informed decisions about external operating partners.

Whether you want to start the container journey in-house or need basic knowledge to more effectively outsource operations to an external party, Binero's training programmes have everything you need.

Frequently asked questions and answers about our OpenShift course

Why is Binero good at OpenShift?

Binero offers both self-managed and managed container platforms, consulting and training in OpenShift, containerisation and Kubernetes.

Our collective experience of delivering this breadth of services has helped us create a hands-on training in OpenShift.

Since its inception, Binero has helped companies achieve more cost-effective and dynamic IT using open source and open standards. We have also been a Red Hat partner since 2003 and were early supporters of automation and containerisation.

Is education physical or digital?

Our OpenShift experts will be happy to come to you and conduct the training on site.

Why is there so much talk about containers and kubernetes?

Today, software development needs to happen faster and faster to meet business demands. You're expected to keep pace with, or even surpass, your competitors. Containers and Kubernetes speed up your development process by making the application more modular. Applications built as microservices are easier to manage because each module is relatively simple, and changes can be made to modules without requiring changes to the basic architecture of the entire application. Kubernetes also provides you with a very efficient way to maintain the application once it goes into production, as well as an easy way to upgrade it and scale it as needed.

With Kubernetes, you can thus easily move your container-based applications across multiple clouds and environments, enabling greater flexibility and freedom of choice. You will build cloud-native applications that can run anywhere! Kubernetes can then easily scale to meet the needs of even the fastest growing application.

What is the minimum number of participants?

The minimum number of participants is 4 people and the maximum number of participants is 8 people per course session. The limit is set to give each participant plenty of time to complete and learn from the different elements, but also to allow the trainer to give each student plenty of time to ensure quality.

What level of skills are needed in OpenShift?

Is there training for individuals?

If you are interested in working with security, networks, cloud and container technology, Binero's product owner Jonas Björk, in collaboration with Lernia, has developed a University of Applied Sciences (YH) programme. Over two years, you will learn Linux, Databases, CI/CD, Networks, Cloud and Container Technology.

The programme is distance learning and starts in autumn 2023, 2024 and 2025. Here you can read more about the programme content and see when the application opens!

Our container services

Choose between OKD and OpenShift as your container platform.

Binero delivers Red Hat's OpenShift and OKD (community version) as a managed container platform. Do you want to use a different version of kubernetes? No worries, in Binero cloud, a Swedish cloud service built on open standards with OpenStack, you can choose to run any kubernetes distribution you want.
