Without a license agreement, it is not permitted to show TV in public/institutional environments such as hotels, offices, restaurants, bars, gyms, schools, hospitals, and military facilities. Through the license, you obtain the right to show TV publicly. Showing TV without an agreement, however, is a violation of copyright law and can lead to a penalty fee.
