Without a license agreement, it is not permitted to show TV in public/institutional environments such as hotels, offices, restaurants, bars, gyms, schools, hospitals and military facilities. With the license, you obtain the right to show TV publicly. Showing TV without an agreement, however, is a breach of copyright law and can lead to a fine.
