Climate-certified and fossil-free cloud services
We are actively working to reduce the high energy consumption and emissions typically associated with large data centres. Our data centre outside Stockholm follows a circular and climate-smart model to reduce its environmental impact. The surplus heat generated is used to heat homes in the municipality.
We have long been environmentally certified in accordance with ISO 14001, and in 2020, Binero became the first company in the world to receive the global Fossil Free Data Centre certification. This means that our data centre meets strict requirements for energy efficiency, low carbon dioxide emissions and that we use 100% renewable electricity.
