Nrlyze scales up with Swedish cloud infrastructure: chooses Binero Cloud for a truly Swedish solution
As Nrlyze grew and began handling ever-increasing amounts of measurement data, it became crucial to ensure that the information was stored securely – with a Swedish operator, on Swedish soil. At the same time, customer demands for local data storage increased. The challenge
Demands and requests that data should remain in Sweden are emerging
Nrlyze was founded in 2020 with the goal of streamlining energy use through smart metering and optimisation, and needed to set up a web service to support this. On recommendation, they chose a platform that worked well during the start-up phase.
As the company grew, it also outgrew its choice of database and backend design. This gave rise to new requests and requirements in procurement with larger customers. The requirements meant that Nrlyze's data should be stored by a Swedish-owned company and thus remain in Sweden.
The solution
Combine manufacturing products in Sweden with moving home to a Swedish cloud service
While Nrlyze values manufacturing its products in Sweden, it wants to change platforms. It therefore decided to combine the project of implementing a new database and backend design with a strategic change of cloud provider. In connection with moving their data back to Sweden, the infrastructure was rebuilt from the ground up, enabling better performance and scalability. Binero's server hall in Vallentuna is powered by renewable energy and contributes to local district heating – a solution that matches Nrlyze's sustainability goals.
