Sweden's IT operations network

Sveriges It driftnätverk

Binero is part of a joint initiative to strengthen Swedish IT operations and skills provision.

Several Swedish companies and authorities have launched the “Swedish IT Operations Network” to address the shortage of IT skills and strengthen the country's competitiveness. The network's goal is to increase skills and attract more people to the industry.

The network is a joint initiative between the business community and Swedish authorities. The network consists of Atea, Binero, Cleura, Saab, Safespring, the Swedish Tax Agency, the Swedish Transport Administration and the Swedish Transport Agency.

IT operations are a central and fundamental part of everyday life in Sweden when it comes to storage, communication and access to key societal functions. Being dependent on other countries' services and, by extension, their legislation means that we lose control over our information management and data. It also affects our competitiveness and innovative capacity.

Due to a shortage of resources and expertise in IT operations, IT infrastructure, data centres and cloud services in Sweden, we want to speak with one voice to promote a long-term initiative to prevent this negative development.

People look at a screen with the message ‘Sweden's IT operating network’. Människor tittar på en skärm med budskapet ”Sveriges It-driftnätverk”.

What is Binero doing today to promote Sweden's competitiveness and skills supply?
