Focus on sustainability

Data centres are, without exaggeration, very energy-intensive facilities, and if they are operated incorrectly, they quickly become environmental hazards. At Binero, we have a well-developed environmental strategy where our data centres are very energy efficient, but without ever compromising on performance.

Our data centre in Vallentuna is powered by renewable electricity and is certified according to Fossil Free Data. The heat generated is recycled through the district heating network to heat properties in the municipality.

Maximum performance: Redundancy at the highest level

We use A+B redundancy in our data centre, which means that we have two separate systems that can both handle the entire load. If one system and its backup power fail, the other takes over automatically. This applies to both power and cooling, where both circuits are completely independent of each other. The result is maximum operational reliability and the ability to perform maintenance without interruption for our customers.

The network infrastructure is also built to guarantee availability and performance. With dual fibre connections from different directions and several redundant network providers, we ensure that data traffic always has a secure and reliable route. Internal cabling is designed to handle high speeds and volumes, guaranteeing stable operation and security even during maintenance or unforeseen events.
